Bill C-64, the draft federal legislation on wrecks and hazardous vessels, has been on hold during Parliament’s summer recess. The Bill had previously gone through the process to the point of completing the committee-report stage, but has not yet received Third Reading in the House of Commons.
Once Parliament resumes on September 17, the Bill will be in line for Third Reading and then referral to the Senate for reading, review and approval.
